Registering for the Demonstrations Web Site

The following information is for students at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, California.

Before you can submit a Demonstration to Wolfram Research, you need to register on their web site. If you are under 18 years old, you and a parent/guardian will need to complete an extra step because part of the registration process is a contractual agreement to their policies. Please follow the directions below.

ALL STUDENTS

  1. Read the following from Wolfram Research. This is what you (and your parent/guardian) are agreeing to when you create your account.

  2. If you are under 18 years old, do the following.
    If you are at least 18 years old then skip to Step #3.

    Have a parent/guardian send an e-mail to demonstrations@wolfram.com.
    You do NOT need to wait for a response before continuing your registration on the website.

    Use Subject Line: Permission for Use - [[Name of Student]]

    Copy the following text into the body of the message and complete the information indicated in [[   ]].

    Dear Wolfram Research,

    I am the parent/guardian of [[Student's First and Last Name]] who will register on the Demonstrations web site with the e-mail address [[Student Email Address]]. We have read the Submission Policy (http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/submissionpolicy.html) and the Terms of Use (http://www.wolfram.com/legal/terms/wolfram-demonstrations-project.html) and agree to both. [[Student's name]] will be 18 years old on [[Date of 18th Birthday]].

  3. Go to
  4. http://demonstrations.wolfram.com and click on "Authoring Area."

  5. Follow the instructions there to create an account and submit Demonstrations.

  6. Be sure that you have read the Authoring Guidlines:
